By Morgan Glickman SYRACUSE N.Y. (NCC NEWS) — If you have always wanted to be in a movie, now is your chance. A movie being filmed in Liverpool is looking for more extras.

Jeremy Garelick, Hollywood film maker, is looking for extras to be in his new movie. He is  best known for “The Hangover,” “The Break-Up” and “The Wedding Ringer.” This is his 5th movie being filmed in Central New York.

Garelick is looking for anyone over 18 that can resemble high school students.

The movie is being filmed at Syracuse Studios, the former A.V. Zogg Middle School, through Nov. 16.

“We did a scene outside a high school. Actually shooting the scene was very cool, and just getting to see all the ideas come into play,” said current movie extra Madi Dallas.

The movie, “Sid is Dead” will star Disney actors Genevieve Hannelius and Joey Bragg.

The movie is about a socially invisible high school senior, Sid (Bragg) who, accidentally gets  the school’s biggest bully suspended. He then realizes he may only have two weeks left to live so he must live it up in order to experience everything he has ever missed out on.

Dallas said the movie is in need of at least 100 extras. “I totally recommend if you are interested in being in a movie or if you just want the experience to definitely go and be an extra it was a lot of fun,” said Dallas.

Extras are given lunch and paid $10 an hour. If you are interested you can email extras@americanhigh.com.
