New Restaurant Opens Near Syracuse Lakefront

By CB Garrett SYRACUSE, N.Y. (NCC News) — The Preserve Tavern and Grille opened its doors today.

The restaurant is owned by Doug LaLone, who also owns the Gem Diner in the lakefront area. The construction was completed in what was formerly the Casey Construction Building.

The address of the restaurant is 405 Spencer St., which could cause some initial concern for business. There is currently a bridge closed on Spencer St. running over I-81 that could make it difficult for people to get to.

The location of the restaurant is in the below map in blue, while the closed bridge is in orange.

The restaurant serves a variety of craft beers and wines and offers stone fired pizzas to go along with outdoor TVs. It is open for dinner Monday through Saturday from 5pm to 10pm and daily for lunch from 11:30am to 2:30pm.
