By Danielle Bulluck SYRACUSE N.Y. (NCC News)— Syracuse Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s Brew at the Zoo is going to be bigger than it ever has been before.

It’s been 22 years since Rosamond Zoo’s first Brew at the Zoo and each year it continues to grow. This year the event will be called Brew at the Zoo and Dinos Too, because it’s taking place during the Dinosaur invasion exhibits. Communication Manager Janet (Jay) Gramzen said there is great turn out of people every year.

“At least a couple thousand people here, enjoying strolling around the zoo after hours and sampling different brews.” Gramzen says.

People are able to come to take a walk in the zoo and enjoy a nice brew of beer. The brew at the zoo event is sponsored by  TJ Sheehan and Spirit & Sanzone, they are bringing over 100 different beers, wines, hard sodas and cider.

Tops Market will provide food for the event, with 10 food food tents around the zoo. Gramzen says this is the most the zoo has ever done.

Gramzen said the event is a celebration for local brewery and a one of the most important fundraisers. The event also offers a actuation each year and this year it has become a digital actuation.

The zoo will be actuationing off things like 2 tickets to a Mets game, dinner overnight stay at the Hotel Syracuse Marriott, special events at the zoo and so much more.

Brew at the Zoo is happening this Friday, August 2  from 5pm-8pm.
