Today is the 17th of April, marking almost a full month since the first day of spring this year.

However, the average temperature in Syracuse since the first day of spring has been colder than any year since 1975.

Linda Hannon is from Syracuse, New York, and is not happy with how the weather is ruining her plans for spring.

“I mean, it’s not good.” Hannon said. “I’d rather it be nice out. I wanna do stuff. My back yard’s a mess, there’s trees down and leaves all over and lots of gardening to get done.”

The rest of this week should still see below-normal temperatures, with highs in the 40’s.
