By Sean Salisbury, Syracuse, N.Y. (NCC News) — Syracuse is in the middle of its 10th annual “Beer Week.” The event takes place mostly downtown and features much more than the typical selections on tap. A plethora of craft beers and specials will be going on until the end of the weekend. Kitty Hoynes celebrated earlier today with an upstate versus downstate IPA competition all day, and tonight Blue Tusk is hosting the Green Lakes Christmas Beer Party.
This event preludes the Landmark Theater’s 5th Annual Craft Brewers Festival on December 2. Beer fans can purchase tickets online, while the city’s Beer Week continues at select locations until Sunday.
